Kickstand Relocation Kit provides additional protection to your vulnerable engine case by relocating. With the original kickstand stock position, directly bolted to the case, if the stand was hit just right the engine case could crack, leak all your oil out and leave you stranded. Even a slow tip over in a parking lot could snap off the stock kickstand. Repair cost can be as much as $8,000. When relocating your Kickstand utilize the set of magnets that comes with the kit to disable the kickstand sensor. Some of the stock Kickstand parts are retained when relocating to ensure geometric uniformity. The skid plate is designed to be an around the world piece that is overbuilt for the long haul.
